RPG stands for Role Playing Game.
Computer games which supposedly for kids but now being played mostly by big
boys. Computer games nowadays are getting more complicated which most kids can’t
play, even me, I don’t even know how to play the well known computer game Defense of The Ancient “DoTA”.
Actually in our classroom of all boys, I was the only one who doesn’t know how
to play “DOTA”, funny and quite an embarrassment for my age, it feels like I’m
out of place and isolated inside our classroom, their all shouting with
excitement while having their tournament, their laptops were all linked to each
other except mine. I can’t relate and I don’t belong.
A KIND OF RPG
Their all playing a kind of RPG which don’t interest me
to learn and I don’t want to get myself into, because I don’t want to become
addicted like them. Its seems to me that playing those RPG is like leaving your
real world and engaging yourself in the virtual world of that game, yes I know
it’s a great world like living in fairy tale so you tend to forget the time and
wished you can just stay there forever, not realizing the time you wasted in
your real world to where you’re supposed to be struggling in getting your real
goal, not the goal in the game you’re playing.
Today’s RPGs stages are almost
endless, as long as many is playing it, the makers of course will keep on
building it and will never put an end to it, it’s their business, their profit
will end if they end the stages of that game. So what about you who never sleep
working on your character and struggling for level ups?
You spent more of your
time without realizing the real character you’re supposed to be working on and
that is yourself. How far are you now in your way of getting your life’s goal,
have you improved and already upgraded yourself? How much time did you spend to
upgrade your game character? Think what you are now if you spent those wasted
effort and time in upgrading yourself.
I’m not saying that all gamers
doesn't play well in real life, even though my classmates were mostly gamers, they still
maintained their goods grades, in fact better than my grades and that’s
another embarrassment to me huhu.. But what more if they're not? Would they be
better ?
Anyway I don’t pity myself, I just don’t
push my brain too much in academics, I know I’m not intelligent like most of them, and i always knew that success is not only for intelligent people. In fact many well known successful people doesn't really play well in school (COLLEGE DROP OUTS, THE REIGNING BUSINESSMEN AND BILLIONAIRES) and I'm thinking of becoming one of them someday..lol
for me, I measure intelligence in
the level of ones success and especially riches. There are many who like to show the world how smart they are, some wear eyeglasses just to
play smart, or make themselves look like they are smart. In business you can
only be smart if you're rich, because if you’re really smart, how come you’re
not rich?
RPB
I’m also a gamer, but the game
that i love is my so called RPB, or Role Playing Business. Just
like RPG whose struggling in the virtual world, I’m also struggling to build my
own business empire in the virtual world. Yes business empire, forgive me if I
sound very ambitious and arrogant, I know I’m still too far and still in
process of digging a hole for a foundation. I’m still in the process of
developing my skill in the world of business and currently in the lowest level.
But I’m looking on Top to the level where those I considered mentor has
reached. I’ll be there someday I swear; because I know they have also started
to the lowest level of this game that I’m playing now. So if you’re playing RPG, why not try switching to RPB? It’s connected to the real world, if you’re
playing good there; you’ll be successful in the real world.
note: its not literally a game like this one..
